We’re different so that you stand out. Let us introduce ourselves.
A concise and elegant expression.
We’re not public relators, we’re public disruptors.
WE ARE NOT
Full of ourselves
Founder & Director
Renae founded The Atticism in 2012 and has since become a recognised leader in the PR and SME industries.
Renae was selected as head judge for the Public Relations Industry Awards in 2018 and is regularly interviewed by Australian and International press about her unique approach to PR and business management.
Renae shares her time between our Sydney and London offices and supervises all client accounts at The Atticism.
She loves coffee so much that she actually packs her Nespresso when she travels. #extra
Ben has worked in the tourism and hospitality industry for over 20 years.
Throughout this time, Ben has established an extensive network of contacts throughout Australia, the UK and Europe through his work with Tourism Australia and Destination NSW.
Ben is well known and respected in the Australian food, drink and travel sectors and is a part owner of Sydney Beer Week.
After working as an Account Director at The Atticism for several years, Ben now consults freelance, offering strategic assistance for our tourism and F&B clients.
PR Account Manager
Virginia (Gin) honed her skills at creative consultancies and fashion industries in London and NYC before joining the Atticism team in 2017 as an Account Manager.
Gin works with lifestyle and hospitality clients and has a flair for creative communications and event management.
As well as managing several client accounts in our Sydney portfolio, she also provides her creative input and London-local expertise for select UK clients.
A bold red wine is the simple way to get Gin’s attention, with 100% success rate if mixed with a timely and witty pun.
Junior Account Manager
Mond assists the entire Atticism team with administration, research, graphic design and the day to day running of client accounts.
Mond recently graduated from marketing and graphic design at USYD and is now well on his way to becoming a fully fledged public relations manager. Mond has already shown incredible potential and a unique flair for communications.
At home, he’s an aspiring music producer working on the exclusive Atticism office soundtrack.
Cale is the owner of XUCK Design, conveniently in the same office space as The Atticism.
Cale has worked alongside high profile brands such as TFE Hotels, Jonah’s, Radisson Hotels, Range Rover, Hungerford Hill, Taylors Wines, Wagamama, Macquarie Bank and ALH Group (just a few names you might recognise).
We love Cale’s identity designs as they are minimalistic and refined – leaving room for the our client’s persona to be seen.
Social Media Manager
Nikki has over 10 years experience in the hospitality business industry. Her claim to fame is having personally photographed George Calombaris, Susan Sarandon and Goldie Horn and being Snoop Dogg’s PR girl for a day.
Nikki is located in Melbourne and when she’s not managing social clients, she’s busy being the Director of Milk Bottle Projects.
Her coffee order is a skinny late, because skim milk doesn’t have too much more sugar than regular… right!?
Snr Account Director
Maggie brings over 9 years experience to The Atticism with a background in hospitality PR, corporate PR in the startup space and marketing lifestyle brands.
Maggie has broad experience across the development and implementation of engaging multi-channel communications campaigns using a strong PR strategy and refined social media focus.
Maggie is located in Western Australia and adds a local perspective for clients in Australia’s West, specifically the Perth hospitality and lifestyle scenes.
Snr Account Manager
Angela’s experience includes a high-level career in client management, public relations, celebrity management, event management and brand activations.
Angela’s media career started with various newspapers before taking on client management roles for the likes of Delicious Magazine and Vogue Entertaining and Travel.
Angela works with The Atticism on a freelance basis and enjoys using her hospitality and high profile media experience to create compelling campaigns for restaurants in Sydney.
Copywriter & Content Editor
After relocating from London to Australia in 2015, Moreton joined The Atticism as a copywriter and content editor.
Moreton’s ‘word-smithing’ (nope, he would not approve of that word) skills are called on to help refine, or sometimes redefine, our client’s brand image and messages.
Moreton creates unique content for editorial articles, blog posts, expert profiles and media pitches.
He also loves to correct spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
